I’ve been a writer and editor most of my adult life. I wrote 2 nonfiction books, ghost-co-wrote 3 textbooks, wrote numerous nonfiction articles, and edited myriad nonfiction books for decades. During that time, I have enjoyed the company of my daughter, her daughters, numerous dogs, and many many friends and family members.
I enjoy taking nature walks with my pup, Sweetie, while taking amateurish photos of birds, using my cheapo Nikon P950. I have great fun knitting, squooshing clay, and fiddling around with other handicrafts.
I relish reading nonfiction books about topics that interest me, researching and taking notes, and writing about whatever I’m learning. In the past year, I have had to stop volunteering at the San Diego Zoo because Sweetie has extreme separation anxiety. I had been investigating other volunteer opportunities I can do at home with Sweetie, when I realized, Why not just do what I love? Research topics of interest, and write up whatever I discover. I’m using this blog as an offering of what I’ve been able to discover, in the hope that you may enjoy reading it.
I welcome your ideas, suggestions, tips for improvement, nudges to fix things, and so on. Please join me on this new adventure!
